Bowls Buller, as the administrative centre for outdoor bowls in the Buller district, acts as the focal point for events in Buller and as the liaison between the national body (Bowls New Zealand) and the clubs which form the Centre.

Many events are organised by the constituent clubs, however the Centre organises its own events, details of which are shown here : Centre Events The Centre also selects representative players and teams to represent the Centre at regional and national events. The Centre is run by an executive committee. For the 2025-26 season the officers are -
